Emerging Researchers' Seminar on Earthquake Engineering

A successful Emerging Researchers Seminar on Earthquake Engineering was held online on Dec. 17, 2020. The seminar was initiated by Dr. Gabriele Granello (The university of Tokyo) and Dr. Bin Wang (Kyoto University). We invited nine speakers from Japan and New Zealand and the seminar covered a broad range of topics, including RC structures, self-centering structures, timber structures, and viscous/viscoelastic/BRB dampers, etc.

We had a great turn out of people, with more than 70 attendees from 10 different countries/regions. This was possible not only because of the high relevance of the topics discussed, but also because of the high quality speakers who took the time to share their knowledge with us.
