Post Specification
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow position focused on Structural/Earthquake Engineering, particularly in the field of low-damage earthquake resilient structural systems, high-performance passive dampers, and base isolation systems.
The successful candidate joins an interdisciplinary team bringing together academics and researchers from the fields of structural engineering, earthquake engineering, and seismology in the Department of Civil Engineering, Sichuan University.
Qualifications
The applicant will have completed a Ph.D. in Structural/Earthquake Engineering, or a closely related subject from overseas institutes (including those in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan). Applicants nearing completion of their Ph.D. will also be considered. The applicant will have excellent communication skills and written English and have a strong research background in experimental and numerical studies.

The fellowship is externally-funded for 2 years.

Remuneration
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered (approximately 300,000 RMB per annum).
